The Graphic Design Intern supports Skylight Music Theatre’s marketing and communications team in developing visual materials that promote productions, events, and institutional initiatives.
Key Internship Responsibilities
- Assist in designing digital and print marketing materials
- Resize and adapt artwork for multiple platforms (web, social, email, print)
- Prepare and organize files for production
- Maintain visual consistency with brand standards
- Support creative concept development
- Assist with basic photo editing and image selection
- Organize and maintain design assets
Internship Qualifications
- Current student in Graphic Design, Marketing & Advertising, or related field
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Willingness to seek creative feedback and work collaboratively

- Manages brand standards, voice, and overall creative direction
- Develops and places digital and print advertising campaigns
- Produces marketing materials for productions and institutional initiatives
- Manages on-site and off-site events with community and arts partners
- Supports Artistic, Production, and Education departments through promotion and audience engagement
