About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our leadership team and oversee all aspects of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team while driving strategic financial decisions that support organizational growth. This position requires a bilingual professional (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills in both languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and KPIs.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across the department.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
