Duties
- Prepare interior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray painting), and conventional spraying methods.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface repairs, patching, caulking, and trim carpentry to achieve smooth finishes.
- Conduct surface inspections and perform quality checks throughout the painting process to maintain high standards.
- Assist with renovation projects by performing tasks such as plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in residential painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, and construction spray painting.
- Ability to work confidently at heights using ladders.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimating project materials.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), and surface preparation equipment.
- Skills in caulking, trim carpentry, restoration work, framing carpentry, drywall finishing, plastering, masonry, concrete finishing, remodeling, maintenance tasks, handyman services, industrial painting techniques including coating applications.
