SKYLAKE Adventures is looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-savvy Seasonal Social Media Coordinator to help capture and share the excitement of Indiana’s newest adventure destination. This role is perfect for someone who lives on social media, loves storytelling through photo and video, thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments, and isn’t afraid to get their hair wet.

As a growing adventure brand and destination, this position offers a unique opportunity to help shape not only the future of the SKYLAKE Adventures social media presence, but also the culture and personality behind the brand. We’re looking for someone excited to contribute ideas, experiment creatively, and help define how our audience experiences SKYLAKE online.

The Seasonal Social Media Coordinator will assist with planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across our social media platforms while helping bring the SKYLAKE brand to life online. From capturing guests conquering obstacles to filming behind-the-scenes moments and viral-worthy trends, this role will play a key part in shaping the park’s digital presence throughout the season.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, outgoing, and comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Capture and create engaging social content daily across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Film and edit short-form video content including reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes content, guest experiences, and promotional videos.
  • Assist with planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns, trend-based content, and event promotions.
  • Monitor social channels and engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on social media trends, audio, memes, editing styles, and platform updates.
  • Help identify opportunities for viral or community-driven content.
  • Capture photo and video content during park operations, special events, media visits, and promotional activations.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels.
  • Assist with influencer collaborations, giveaways, and user-generated content initiatives.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement.
  • Comfortable shooting and editing content on mobile devices and editing software/apps.
  • Basic experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in an active, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during the season.
  • Photography and videography experience is a plus.
  • Must be reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Passion for entertainment, attractions, tourism, or experiential brands is preferred

  • Drone video/photo experience
  • Experience managing brand or business social accounts
  • Experience appearing on camera for social content
  • Graphic design or motion graphics experience
  • Familiarity with influencer and creator trends

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry promotional materials (up to 25 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
