Skyhawks Delaware Valley is actively hiring Youth Sports Coaches to run SuperTots (ages 2 to 4) and Skyhawks (Ages 5 to 15) programming in the Doylestown Area.

Candidate is someone that can teach sports programs like soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. Kids are young so you don't need to be an expert in any sport but you do need to bring the energy and create a fun, engaging environment for the kids!
A coach will be able to work independently and manage children in a class setting. Ideal part-time job with great hourly pay and awesome intrinsic rewards working with children.
Shift Schedule
Classes will be held during the week M-F in the evenings between 4pm and 7pm. Weekend classes will be held Saturday and/or Sunday mornings between 9am and 2pm. We are flexible, only work the days of the week you can/want!
Program Overview:
Skyhawks Sports provides child development programs that use a variety games to engage kids in physical activity while they have fun. The curriculum is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence in young children. It stresses a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else. Successful candidates will be highly motivated, outgoing, patient, work well with kids ages 2 to 15 years old in a class setting. Must be able to drive to different class locations, must have excellent communication skills and provide superior customer service.
Job Description:
~ Coach 5-15 hours a week.
~ Most programming is held outdoors
~ Instructs for 2-3 hours per day for a few days a week
~ Light administrative duties.
~Sports background helpful, but not the main consideration.
Job Responsibilities:
-Be a great communicator and work closely with your Program Director and fellow
Coaches
-Assist with program planning and implementation
-Help setup equipment
-Lead instruction with a group of participants throughout the entirety of the program
-Cultivate positive camp/program environment for all participants
Qualifications:
-A high-energy, enthusiastic demeanor
-Multi-sport background preferred
-Flexible, adaptable, and a good communicator
-Responsible and committed to following through on assignments
-Some experience working with kids (not required)
-Some experience coaching youth sports (not required)
-Some supervisory experience (not required)
-Desire to build experience developing youth and/or teaching sports
-A passion for and interest in developing leadership skills
-Reliable Source of Transportation
