Job Title: Director of Performance – Youth Training (NPI Performance)
Location: Newtown Performance Institute
Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 base performance-based bonuses (up to 30% salary)

The Newtown Performance Institute (NPI) is a premier training facility focused on developing youth athletes through high-level performance training. Utilizing the Parisi Speed School training system, we help athletes improve strength, speed, confidence, and long-term athletic success.
We are building a best-in-class coaching and training environment and are seeking a Director of Performance to lead and grow our youth performance business.
Position Overview
The Director of Performance will be responsible for leading all aspects of the NPI Performance business, including training delivery, sales, coach development, and member experience. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in both coaching and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Coaching
- Oversee and deliver high-quality youth performance training sessions
- Ensure all training aligns with Parisi Training System standards
- Maintain a high-energy, structured, and results-driven training environment
- Conduct athlete evaluations and track progress
Sales & Business Development
- Drive internal and external sales of performance programs
- Convert evaluations into training packages (classes, private training, small group, and team training)
- Build relationships with local teams, schools, and organizations for outreach
- Manage pipeline of leads, trials, and conversions
Client & Parent Experience
- Build strong relationships with athletes and parents
- Deliver consistent communication, progress updates, and retention strategies
- Create a “lifetime customer” mindset through engagement and results
Coach Development & Operations
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop coaches to NPI & Parisi standards
- Lead ongoing coach education and performance reviews
- Ensure consistency and quality across all sessions
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and program execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (required)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in performance training or strength & conditioning
- Experience working with youth athletes
- Strong understanding of speed, strength, and athletic development systems (Parisi experience preferred)
- Proven ability in sales, client conversion, and business growth
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring coaches
- High energy, strong communication skills, and a passion for developing athletes
