Overview
We are seeking a highly vigilant and professional Security Specialist to protect our assets, personnel, and property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, conflict management, and emergency response. The position involves monitoring premises through surveillance systems, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to security breaches or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR if necessary. (EMT Certified Strongly Encouraged)
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials of visitors and staff.
- Manage conflict situations professionally, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate potential threats.
- Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of security protocols, emergency procedures, and safety regulations.
- Conduct advance work as necessary
- Drive equipment and personnel to and from place of business.
- Strong focus on concierge services
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable.
- Candidates should have a strong background in Executive Protection with a reputable EP course and verifiable experience.
- Highly desired courses include WPS, PSOC, DoD PSD etc.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary. EMT-B or above highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security best practices.
- Experience working with security systems, access control devices, and alarm systems is advantageous. This role requires a dedicated individual committed to maintaining a safe environment through vigilance, professionalism, and proactive security measures.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
