SkyBridge Luxury is partnering with an iconic San Francisco hotel to identify an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the property’s sales, marketing, revenue strategy, and business development efforts.
Located in the heart of San Francisco, this historic boutique luxury hotel has waterfront character, and views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. This is a high-volume, rooms-driven, catering-heavy property with a strong presence in one of the city’s most recognizable hospitality markets.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic and hands-on sales leader with proven success in hotel sales leadership, group rooms, corporate business, leisure segments, catering revenue, and citywide convention demand. This role will directly support business tied to major San Francisco citywide convention contracts, Moscone Center events, and compression periods, while leading the sales and marketing team toward aggressive revenue goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for a DOSM who understands how to balance strategy with active selling, team leadership, brand positioning, and revenue generation in a competitive urban market.
Key areas of focus include:
- Leading all sales and marketing efforts for the hotel
- Driving group, corporate, leisure, and catering revenue
- Managing and selling San Francisco citywide convention business
- Partnering closely with Revenue Management and Corporate Marketing
- Developing client relationships and market opportunities
- Leading, coaching, and developing the sales team
- Positioning the hotel competitively within the San Francisco market
Ideal candidates will bring strong business acumen, strategic thinking, leadership presence, client development skills, and a proven track record in hotel sales leadership. Experience with independent, boutique, lifestyle, or luxury hotels is strongly preferred, along with knowledge of San Francisco demand drivers and convention cycles.
