The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in fueling Sky Systemz’s growth by identifying and engaging new prospects. This role’s primary responsibility is cold calling decision-makers to set qualified appointments for our Senior Sales Managers. Additionally, the BDR will provide light sales support and assist in identifying potential new markets and opportunities.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in fueling Sky Systemz’s growth by identifying and engaging new prospects. This role’s primary responsibility is cold calling decision-makers to set qualified appointments for our Senior Sales Managers. Additionally, the BDR will provide light sales support and assist in identifying potential new markets and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to targeted prospects in assigned territories.
- Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Senior Sales Managers.
- Research and identify prospective clients through online tools, CRM data, industry lists, and networking.
- Qualify leads by assessing needs, fit, and potential opportunity size.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of prospects and meetings.
- Provide light sales support, including follow-up emails, lead nurturing, and administrative tasks in the CRM.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, contacts, and outcomes in the CRM.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly metrics for calls, meetings booked, and lead quality.
- Proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or cold calling.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional and engaging phone presence.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable handling objections and persistence in pursuing leads.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience preferred).
- Knowledge of the heavy building materials industry is a plus, but not required.

- $45,000 Base Salary
- First Year OTE $65,000
