About The Role
A Business Development Representative (BDR) is a highly qualified and proven sales professional in Facilities Services and/or the Mechanical Services industries. A BDR should have a minimum (1-3) one to three years of over plan sales performance in Facilities and/or Mechanical Services.

About The Role
A Business Development Representative (BDR) is a highly qualified and proven sales professional in Facilities Services and/or the Mechanical Services industries. A BDR should have a minimum (1-3) one to three years of over plan sales performance in Facilities and/or Mechanical Services.
Various Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- to identify prospective customers
- to fully qualify prospective customers
- to perform a needs analysis
- to develop financial analysis and justification
- manage complex selling processes
- ability to interact at all levels of an organization (executive, management, maintenance)
- deliver high quality presentations to individuals and decision making boards
- close high volume of profitable business
- Must be capable of closing business in a variety of strategies. Sales can range from complex bundled offerings to stand-alone market specific sales (i.e. maintenance agreements or capital projects).
- Must have a high level of competence in financial selling and must fully understand Perfection’s diverse service offerings. A BDR must also be able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite of products and various other tools.
- A BDR is expected to develop and implement long-term customer relationships at the strategic level to meet Perfection Group’s growth goals. A successful BDR will manage sales prospects across the company divisions and territory alignment.
- Must have a firm understanding of all Perfection sales offerings, including Performance Contracting, Base Business, Energy Retrofits, Construction, Facility Services, and a desire to seek new opportunities for Perfection Group.
- A BDR will manage target accounts and generate business opportunities with current customers and new prospects assigned by the executive management team.
- Must be self-motivated and able to sell independently. When needed for complex opportunities, the BDR will be supported by our operations and sales leadership teams. A BDR must have the ability to lead a target job team. The BDR is a facility solutions provider capable of providing enhanced offerings with total financial justification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, or similar
- Minimum of 1-3 years of business-to-business sales experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have outstanding communication skills and a track record of giving successful presentations
- Experience using LinkedIn, Sales CRM’s, Hubspot, PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite of products
