Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support data product design, requirements gathering, and analytical validation for a cloud-based enterprise data platform. This role will work across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure data is accurate, usable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather analytical requirements.
- Document data definitions, mappings, lineage, and transformation logic.
- Profile source system data and identify gaps or quality issues.
- Validate data products and support UAT.
- Develop reports, dashboards, or queries to support data validation and insights.
- Support metadata, cataloging, and documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure pipeline outputs meet specifications.
- Translate business questions into meaningful data insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 years of data analysis experience in cloud or enterprise environments.
- Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
- Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, etc.).
- Ability to write clear requirements, mapping documents, and test plans.
- Strong understanding of data lineage, quality, and governance concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UDM or other enterprise modelling frameworks.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or AWS analytics services.
- Experience with data quality tools or cataloging platforms.
