Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and maintaining network security. The IT Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the productivity of our office by ensuring all IT systems are functioning optimally for our customers

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals for our customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement and manage firewall configurations to enhance network security.
- Utilize ServiceNow for tracking incidents and service requests.
- Assist in the deployment of new software applications and updates.
- Conduct regular system checks and maintenance on Linux-based systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and support strategies.
- Document all technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements
- Proven experience in providing technical support in an office environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer management, including hardware setup and maintenance.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and firewalls.
- Experience with desktop support tasks, including operating system installations and upgrades.
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for IT support management.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
