About the Role
Sky Climber Access Solutions is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Branch Support Specialist to support our branch operations, sales, and accounting teams. This role serves as a key administrative resource for the branch, helping ensure accurate billing, inventory management, customer service, and operational support.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and processes, and has strong experience in billing, office administration, and customer support.
This role works out of the Skokie office while also supporting operations for various branch locations.
This is a full-time salaried position working Monday through Friday.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and payment tracking
- Process rental contracts, returns, sales orders, and work orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare customer invoices and support construction project billing requirements
- Provide administrative support to sales and operations teams
- Assist customers and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process vendor invoices, purchase order matching, and accounting documentation
- Manage rental returns and inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate freight and cycle billing activities
- Generate sales, rental, and operational reports
- Maintain branch records, files, office supplies, and equipment
- Analyze operational data and provide reporting support to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable, collections, and customer invoicing experience
- Minimum 2 years of administrative, billing, or office support experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Experience processing purchase orders, invoice matching, and general ledger coding
- Ability to accurately manage high-volume data entry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Construction, industrial, or equipment rental industry experience
- Inventory control experience
- Experience with Texada or similar ERP/rental management software
- Experience with construction billing, including AIA billing and Schedule of Values
- Knowledge of Notice to Owner (NTO) and lien processes
Work Environment & Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Occasional travel may be required for training or company meetings
