Hiring Public Works Road Crew Member/Laborer
Skippack Township, Montgomery County, is accepting applications for a semi-skilled individual to work as part of its Public Works Crew. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that performs all types of maintenance and repair work on roadways, buildings, landscaped areas, parks, and other Township property as well as snow removal. The applicant must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and have a valid driver's license. The applicant must also have a commercial driver’s license (CDL) with five years of CDL experience. Stormwater Management and MS4 experience a plus. The hourly rate will depend on one's skill level and experience, and competitive benefits are provided including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, pension, holidays, vacation, and sick time. Uniforms are provided.
