Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage concrete crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide construction activities accurately.
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy; manage changes or revisions as needed.
- Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe job site for all personnel.
- Manage budgets, procurement of materials, and subcontractor contracts to optimize project resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections using tools like ohmmeters and other testing equipment to ensure structural integrity.
- Lead team meetings, communicate effectively with management, clients, and crew members to coordinate project activities smoothly.
- Ensure compliance with construction regulations and safety protocols while supervising multiple phases of concrete installation projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in concrete construction.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Effective managerial communication skills; capable of supervising multiple team members while maintaining high morale and efficiency.
- Knowledge of construction regulations specific to commercial projects; experience managing budgets and project scheduling is preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; experience implementing safety programs.
