Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Manager to lead our Scottsdale location. Reporting to practice leadership, this individual will oversee all front- and back-office operations, lead the on-site team, and ensure the office delivers an efficient, compliant, and outstanding patient experience. Periodic travel to our Mesa headquarters is required.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Management
* Supervise, coach, and develop all office staff to foster a high-performing, accountable team
* Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping, productivity, and payroll
* Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
* Serve as the first point of escalation for staff and patient concerns
Practice Operations
* Optimize provider schedules to maximize appointment utilization and patient access
* Oversee patient intake, check-in, and checkout workflows
* Ensure accurate, organized, and secure management of medical records
* Support insurance verification, billing, and collections processes
Compliance & Office Administration
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies and procedures
* Manage the location's supply budget, inventory, and equipment
* Ensure a clean, safe, organized, and inspection-ready facility
Performance & Patient Experience
* Track and report key operational metrics to leadership
* Resolve patient service issues promptly and professionally
* Partner with leadership on process improvements and patient satisfaction initiatives
* Provide administrative support to providers as needed
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of medical office management required; dermatology experience strongly preferred
* Demonstrated success leading teams, including scheduling, productivity, and payroll oversight
* Working knowledge of medical scheduling, insurance, and billing workflows
* Proficiency with EMR/EHR and practice management systems, Microsoft Office, and standard office technology
* Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, staff, and providers
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
* Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
