About the Role
Our thriving, physician-led cosmetic practice is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both front desk operations and back office clinical care. This is a unique opportunity for a warm, professional, and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving aesthetic medical environment.
We are looking for someone who can confidently balance exceptional customer service at the front desk with clinical efficiency in the back office and strong phlebotomy experience.
Core Responsibilities
Front Office Duties (Customer Service & Admin):
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phone calls and triage messages efficiently
- Schedule and confirm appointments using our EMR system
- Assist with patient intake, consents, and checkout
Back Office Duties (Clinical Support):
- Room patients and prepare treatment rooms
- Assist physicians with procedures and patient photography
- Initiate and manage consent forms and documentation
- Draw blood (phlebotomy experience required)
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and restocking of clinical supplies
- Support retail inventory and product ordering
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant a strong plus
- At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A passion for patient care and customer service
- Experience in a cosmetic dermatology or aesthetic medicine setting
- Sales experience or interest in medical skincare and treatments a strong plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus
- Familiarity with EMRs, especially in aesthetics
