Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for partial work from home. The CEO will lead the overall strategy and vision of Skillset, ensuring alignment across product, operations, finance, and commercial functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing business performance, guiding executive leaders, managing key stakeholder relationships, and driving revenue growth and market expansion. The CEO will collaborate closely with product and technology teams to refine the platform, make data-driven decisions, and prioritize initiatives that enhance user experience and brand impact. This role will also represent Skillset in external partnerships, investor meetings, and industry events, championing the company’s mission and culture.
Qualifications
- Strong Finance and Business Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
- Proven expertise in Operations Management and Strategic Planning to scale teams, processes, and systems effectively.
- Demonstrated success in Sales and commercial strategy, with a track record of driving growth and building partnerships.
- Leadership experience in a senior executive role, ideally within sports, media, technology, or consumer digital products.
- Ability to build and mentor high-performing, cross-functional teams and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
