SkillSetGroup is seeking a Cost Accountant to work in the Industry, CA area. This position will be working with the accounting team to analyze labor data and providing quick and accurate cost analysis per project. This will be a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
Pay: $75k - $94k - 10% quarterly bonus
Education and/or Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in cost accountant roles
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not required
- Examine costs of production to determine the most efficient methods of production.
- Ensure accurate classification of expenses under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Research material costs to ensure the accuracy of the information in the company's accounting system.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard prices to actual production costs.
- Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
- Monitor the accumulation of all direct labor, overhead and other manufacturing-related expenses.
Salary : $75,000 - $94,000
