JOB SUMMARY
As part of our recent growth, we are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport, stack, load, and unload raw materials, finished products, and supplies within a manufacturing/finish facility, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, load, unload, and stack pallets and bulk items.
- Loading/Unloading: Handle incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks, or containers, verifying counts against manifests.
- Inventory Management: Use of scanners and logbooks to track inventory, rotate materials and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Quality Control: Perform visual checks on materials and products for damage, ensuring correct placement and secure loads.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections, basic upkeep (cleaning, refueling), and report mechanical issues.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow company safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Documentation: Complete forms, records, and documentation related to movements, shipments, and inventory.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with facility staff, supervisors, and other departments to meet production schedules.

Salary Range: $18.00-22.00
