Aerospace Production Specialist- No Experience Required

 JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking several Aerospace Production Specialists to join our team in Auburn, Washington. In this entry level position, training will be provided in assembling parts and a variety of production work in the finishing of aerospace parts. No experience necessary, although relevant experience and/or the ability to read blueprints among other things may increase your starting wage. Advancement opportunities are available and strongly encouraged.

 Qualifications: 

• Ability to understand and follow instructions is critical 
• Must be self-motivated, organized and can adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment. 
• Strong problem solving, social, and oral/written communication skills. 
• Can-do attitude, positive, and capable of communicating and relating to individuals at all levels.  
• Ability to communicate in English through voice, or American Sign Language or adaptive technology. 
• Ability to read, write, communicate and/or follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Requirements: 

1. A pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
2. Due to Skills Inc.’s participation in the defense industry, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requires that access to sensitive information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies may only be accessed, viewed or shared by US Persons as defined by law. A "US Person" can be a US citizen; a lawful permanent legal resident or an individual who has been admitted as a refugee or asylee. 
3.  Employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor.
4.  Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Shift Assignment(s):

1st shift; Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Salary Description:Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Skills Inc. is a self-supporting Social Enterprise and is organized as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit. We have three lines of business; Aerospace Manufacturing, Aerospace Finishing and Business Solutions, that operate in 3 locations. Skills Inc. employs over 250 people and our social mission is to train, employ and serve persons with disabilities. We accomplish our mission three ways; direct hire, vocational programs and services, and as a resource to the community.

Hourly wage: $18.00-21.00
