Role Summary:

This position plays an important behind-the-scenes function within our Client's research environment, helping ensure scientists have the clean, sterile glassware and prepared materials needed to keep lab operations running smoothly. We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant I to support daily glass wash operations, including collecting, washing, sterilizing, and redistributing glassware across multiple labs and floors. Over time, this role may also rotate into basic media preparation, solutions, buffers, and poured plates. This is a hands-on lab support role well suited for someone with scientific education or lab exposure who is reliable, trainable, comfortable following protocols, and interested in supporting a high-volume research setting.

Core Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the collection of dirty glassware from specified locations throughout multiple floors.
• Cleaning out glassware soakers, washing and sterilizing glassware, and distributing sterile glassware to specified locations throughout multiple floors.
• Quality testing of various in-house prepared solutions, media and poured plates.
• Assisting with the preparation of various solutions, media and poured plates.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher required.
• Lab experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in SAP preferred but not required.
• Must be receptive to instruction and able to follow written protocols.
• Good communication skills and an ability to work in a multicultural environment.
