Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to support large-scale infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, storm drains, and pump stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate cost estimates (labor, materials, equipment, timelines)
- Review drawings, specs, and project scope to identify cost drivers
- Source subcontractors/vendors and secure competitive pricing
- Prepare bid proposals with detailed breakdowns and schedules
- Analyze risks and recommend cost-control strategies
- Collaborate with project and field teams to align estimates with execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10 years in heavy civil estimating (WTP/STP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and cost analysis
- Proficiency with HCSS or similar estimating tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
