Underground Utilities Laborer

Skillforce is currently hiring Underground Utilities Laborers for an ongoing commercial project in Madison, VA. The ideal candidate is experienced in skid loader operation, efficient, and isn't afraid to get dirty! Candidates for this position will be working up to 7 days a week, 10-11 hour days. This role will require travel throughout the state of Iowa, when travelling candidates will receive $80/day per diem for every day on the road in addition to single occupancy lodging provided. 

Responsibilities:

• Assembling underground pvc conduit

• Flat concrete work: pouring concrete and placing rebar

• Some skid loader operation as needed

Requirements:

• Prior underground utility experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Benefits:

• Competitive pay based on experience, up to $30/hr. for candidates that old a valid CDL pay is $30 /hr

• When travelling candidates will receive $80/day per diem for every day on the road in addition to single occupancy lodging provided.
