Location: Holton, KS
Pay: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
Per Diem: $120/day
Duration: Monday-Thursday
Schedule: 12hr days, 48hrs total
Skillforce is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Millwrights for work on an RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) unit project in Holton, KS. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience along with basic stick welding capabilities. Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on RTO units
- Complete basic stick welding (SMAW) tasks as required
- Assist with equipment alignment, assembly, and disassembly
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanical millwright in an industrial setting
- Basic stick welding experience required
- Familiarity with RTO units or similar systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools
