Travel: Projects located in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona
Per Diem: $46/day (meals) company-provided lodging

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Senior Wind Technicians to lead and support wind turbine maintenance and installation projects across multiple sites in the Southwest. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering steady, year-round work with significant overtime potential. The Senior Technician will be responsible for leading a small crew while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a crew of up to 5 wind technicians on-site
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines
- Oversee daily work activities to ensure productivity and safety compliance
- Coordinate with site management and project teams to meet deadlines
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with MCE project standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and crew performance
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all OSHA and company policies
- Active GWOBST (Global Wind Organization Basic Safety Training) certification (required)
- Proven experience as a Wind Technician, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to travel and work in TX, NM, and AZ on a consistent basis
- Ability to work extended hours (up to 60 hours/week)
- Must pass drug screening, background check, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
