Pipefitter/Welder - Journeyman

Skillforce is currently seeking an experienced Pipe Welders for a long-term position in Memphis, TN. This role requires strong stick welding skills and the ability to pass a weld test. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with pipe in an industrial or commercial environment and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Job Title: Pipe Welder
Location: Memphis, TN
Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Schedule: 40–50 hours per week
Pay Rate: $28–$34/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pipe welding primarily using stick welding (SMAW)

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols

• Maintain weld quality to meet industry and project standards

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Assist with fitting and fabrication as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of pipe welding experience

• Stick welding experience required

• Must be able to pass a weld test

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently

Preferred (Not Required):

• TIG welding experience

• Pipe fitting and fabrication experience

• Combo welding experience

• 6G welding certifications
