Combo Pipefitter/Welder

Skillforce is hiring experienced Combo Pipe Welders/Fitters for a  industrial maintenance project in the West Memphis area. This role focuses on pipe fabrication, welding, and installation work within active process facilities. Pay is up to $35 per hour based on skill set and experience.

Combo Pipe Welder/ Fitter Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipe (½”–12” diameter), including Schedule 10/40, Schedule 80, and sanitary tube work.

• Fit, align, and fully fabricate piping systems using blueprints, layout direction, and precise measurement tools.

• Support installation and repair projects, including corrosion-resistant and thermoplastic/FRP systems as needed.

• Work collaboratively on general contracting and routine industrial maintenance tasks.

• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and uphold company safety standards.

Requirements:

• 3 years of industrial pipe welding and fitting experience (chemical or manufacturing environment preferred).

• MIG/TIG welding certifications (6G preferred; must pass a weld test).

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.

• Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor/industrial environments.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
