We are hiring Pipe Layers for a major commercial ground-up development in Woodford, VA — right off I-95 at Exit 118, easy commute from Richmond, Fredericksburg, and surrounding areas. Pipe Layer Responsibilities:
- Install underground utilities including storm drain, sanitary sewer, and water lines
- Trench, lay pipe, connect fittings, and backfill per project specifications
- Assist with mass site grading and earthwork on a large commercial development
- Load, move, and stage materials and equipment throughout the jobsite
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support skilled trades and keep the site clean, safe, and productive
- Perform general labor tasks as directed by site supervisors
Pipe Layer Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own basic PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves) and hand tools
- Prior experience in underground utilities or commercial construction preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates welcome
