Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanics

Skillforce, a trusted skilled labor staffing partner, We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics, including Journeymen and Apprentices, for an upcoming commercial HVAC project. Candidates must have a strong background in commercial sheet metal installation and be comfortable working extended hours in a fast-paced jobsite environment.

Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic – Journeyman & Apprentice
Employment Type: Project-Based / Temporary (3–4 Months)
Schedule: 45 hrs/week with overtime pay
Pay Rate: up to $29 (Based on Experience) (Possible Per-Diem available)

Responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, and assemble commercial HVAC sheet metal ductwork

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Measure, cut, and install sheet metal components accurately

• Work safely and efficiently in compliance with jobsite safety standards

• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of sheet metal experience (commercial HVAC preferred)

• Experience as a Journeyman or advanced Apprentice

• Ability to work 48–60 hours per week for the duration of the project

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and ductwork

• Reliable transportation and tools appropriate for the trade

• OSHA certification a plus (not required)

• up to $29/hr , depending on experience

• 3–4 month project

• Overtime available due to extended work schedule
