Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Fabrication Welders for immediate and upcoming projects in Orlando, FL. Pay is up to $30 an hour based on experience and skillset. This role involves structural and precision welding in a shop environment, working from blueprints and fabrication drawings to produce high-quality metal components.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday schedule
- 10-hour shifts
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick as required)
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
- Fit, align, and assemble metal components accurately
- Inspect welds and finished products for quality and compliance
- Operate welding and fabrication tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Follow OSHA and company safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in fabrication welding or structural welding
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to lift materials and work on feet for extended periods
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop environment
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes
- Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic
Work Environment
- Indoor fabrication shop setting
- Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and metal fabrication processes
