Commercial and Industrial Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in commercial and/or industrial settings
- Pull wire, install conduit, and perform electrical system installations
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble conduit (including emt, rigid, etc.) and wiring with precision
- Test and inspect circuits and electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical control systems
- Install new or rebuilt machine parts and support system upgrades, modifications, and renovations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications
- Identify electrical hazards, implement solutions, and follow safety protocols (i.e. lockout/tagout)
- Troubleshoot and test to repair and resolve electrical equipment malfunctions
- Conduct preventative maintenance to improve system reliability and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and diagnostic equipment effectively and safely
Commercial and Industrial Electrician Qualifications:
- 2 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Your own reliable transportation
- Your own tools and PPE
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
