Job Title: Apprentice Ironworkers
Pay: Up to $25/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8–11 hour days
Location: Lakewood, CA.
We are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Ironworker with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the ironworking trade while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Tie rebar accurately and efficiently using both hand and machine tying methods
- Assist with placing, aligning, and securing reinforcing steel
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support journeymen and foremen with daily tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of ironworking or rebar experience required
- Proficient in both hand tying and machine tying rebar
- Ability to work 8–11 hour days, Monday through Friday
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
