Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your main responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing waitlists, and coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure efficient service. Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and ensure they are comfortable
- Manage guest reservations and maintain an organized seating system
- Answer phone calls, take and relay messages, and provide accurate information to guests
- Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Maintain a clean and presentable host stand and lobby area
- Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the management team to improve guest experience and implement any required changes
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus
