Panel Shop now hiring Apprentice Carpenters / Laborers You will work alongside other tradesmen to build and construct various wood panels and trusses related to residential Single-Family Homes and Townhomes. We offer a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits after 90 days. Work is steady and year-round. First and second shift available
Duties:
- Build and construct wall panels, floor panels, trusses and other wood products
- Assembling wall and floor panels
- Operation of power equipment and machines
- Proper & Safe Usage of Hand tools and Power tools
- Follow safety guidelines
- Hauling of material and tools
- Site clean up
- Work in varying temperatures and conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation daily to shop
- Possession of work boots
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to participate in any/all safety training required for the position
- Willingness to learn and advance
