About the Role:Join Skilled Nursing Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and play a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, and we need passionate individuals to help us achieve that mission.Schedule:We are a 24 hour operation and schedules may vary.Shift differential may apply.Currently have 1 Full Time Position and 1 Per Diem Position Available.Responsibilities:Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.Assist in managing inventory, including ordering and restocking pharmaceuticals.Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers.Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping in compliance with regulations.Assist in compounding medications as needed following established protocols.Perform quality control checks on medications and supplies.Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred.Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.Effective communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations is advantageous.Proficient in using pharmacy management software and technology.Current California Pharmacy Technician License required.About Us:Skilled Nursing Pharmacy has been serving the Industry, CA community for over a decade, providing specialized pharmaceutical care tailored to the needs of skilled nursing facilities.
