Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Customer Service and Shipping Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the accurate processing, packing, and shipping of medication orders, supporting our mission to deliver safe and timely care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately verify addresses and medication details before shipping
- Organize, pack, and ship medications to meet scheduled pick-up times
- Process prescriptions using our computer system
- Maintain and restock inventory in storage and shipping areas
- Transfer large cases of cold packs as needed
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work under pharmacist supervision
- Demonstrate strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active California pharmacy technician license (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience processing prescriptions
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient with computers and office technology
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
