An established healthcare company in Queens is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and distribute staff schedules in alignment with departmental needs
Coordinate onboarding documentation for new hires and assist with various HR functions
Process background checks, credentialing, and compliance documentation
Review and respond to employee time-off requests in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of approved staffing vendors and agencies
Secure coverage for call-outs through per diem, part-time, or agency coordination
Enter, track, and maintain staffing and timekeeping data within internal systems
Audit time-clock entries to ensure accuracy and compliance
Monitor employee hours, including overtime tracking
Compile and submit payroll-related data
Required Qualifications & Skills:
