Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, providing behavioral therapy and support.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and implement behavioral strategies to assist individuals with daily living skills (ADLs)
- Work closely with individuals with autism to address behavioral health needs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records
- Implement behavior management techniques as part of the therapeutic process
- Document medical information accurately and efficiently
- Provide behavioral therapy sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy practices
- Familiarity with medical documentation related to behavioral health interventions
