Aquent is partnering with a leading global technology and entertainment company to hire a Senior UX Designer. This designer will help build and expand a high-visibility playlist experience across mobile, web, television, and tablet platforms.

This is an execution-focused opportunity for a detail-oriented designer who can translate complex requirements into intuitive customer experiences, develop comprehensive user flows, and clearly explain the reasoning behind design decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong customer-facing product design experience, with entertainment or streaming experience highly preferred.

The designer will collaborate closely with multiple product managers and cross-functional partners to gather feedback, refine the experience, and scale the feature across platforms. The work will require careful consideration of responsive design, accessibility, customer eligibility, platform-specific requirements, and design-system consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine a customer-facing playlist experience across mobile, web, TV, and tablet platforms.
  • Create detailed user flows that account for complex use cases, business logic, responsive behavior, accessibility, and customer eligibility.
  • Partner closely with product managers and cross-functional design partners to gather feedback and iterate on solutions.
  • Use an established design system to produce polished, scalable experiences.
  • Clearly communicate what changed, why it changed, and how each decision improves the customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the existing experience and influence the future product backlog.
  • Present design work and tell a compelling story during stakeholder reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years of relevant customer-facing product design or UX design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating detailed interaction design, user flows, and polished cross-platform experiences.
  • Experience designing responsive products across multiple devices or platforms.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, business requirements, accessibility, and technical constraints.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and design storytelling skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an execution-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing entertainment, streaming, media, or playlist products.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple product managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within an established design system.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.
  • A humble, curious approach and willingness to incorporate feedback.

Assignment Details

  • Duration: Approximately seven months
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Location: Remote opportunity aligned to a Seattle-based team; candidate location requirements should be confirmed during the screening process.
  • Interview Process: Initial virtual interview followed by a panel interview that includes a portfolio review, functional design assessment, and behavioral questions.
