**Make Your Mark as a Software Database Engineer**

Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will drive the performance and stability of large-scale information systems. You will be instrumental in validating database performance on new hardware and software releases, proactively identifying and resolving regressions, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure seamless operation. **What You'll Do:**

* Design robust architecture encompassing software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
* Ensure system compatibility and compliance with established IT architecture standards and profiles, focusing on platform solutions, system integration, and external interfaces.
* Guarantee adherence to common operating environment standards, analytically evaluating workflow, organization, and planning challenges to develop effective corrective actions.
* Provide daily supervision and direction to staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
* Contribute to ongoing database performance testing, regression detection, and performance diagnostics.
* Identify performance issues and work closely with developers to resolve them, ensuring optimal system stability.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
* 0-2 years of professional experience.
* Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.
* Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring in software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
* Experience driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolios, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.
* Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to technical assignments.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* MBA or other related advanced degree.
* Exposure to database performance testing.
* Programming experience in C, C#, or PowerShell.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a foundational understanding of computer science.
* Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
