We're seeking a Human Research Coordinator to support an innovative and fast-paced research environment focused on advancing athlete performance and protection. This role sits within a multidisciplinary research organization and plays a critical part in ensuring that all human subjects research is conducted ethically, responsibly, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

You'll work at the intersection of research, ethics, and innovation, partnering with scientists and technical teams to support responsible research practices while enabling cutting-edge discovery.

What You'll Do
  • Support Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes, including pre-review of research protocols for ethical and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as a key point of contact for researchers, answering questions and providing guidance on human subjects research requirements
  • Help ensure compliance with federal regulations (HHS, FDA) and internal policies
  • Partner with cross-functional research teams to understand their work and advise on appropriate protections for human participants
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of ethical research programs and processes
  • Deliver training sessions and support education initiatives related to research compliance
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reporting related to research activities
  • Participate in special projects, including research reviews and fact-finding initiatives

You'll collaborate with a diverse group of scientists, researchers, and technical experts across multiple disciplines. This role is part of a research operations team dedicated to supporting ethical innovation and advancing human-centered research.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, biomedical, health, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in human subjects research, IRB administration, or research compliance
  • Strong understanding of research ethics and federal regulations (HHS, FDA)
  • Experience working with or supporting Institutional Review Boards (IRB) or Human Research Protection Programs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation practices
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical and scientific teams
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or similar certification
  • Experience in sport science, biomechanics, physiology, or behavioral research
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Excel, or research databases
Why This Role

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research while ensuring the highest standards of ethics and participant protection. You'll play a key role in enabling innovation while safeguarding the people at the center of it.
