Job Description:
We are hiring Environmental Education Camp Counselors to support summer camp programs focused on nature-based learning and outdoor activities. This seasonal role involves working closely with children in a park setting, leading educational and recreational activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging camp environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise campers and ensure a safe, positive experience
- Lead nature-based activities such as hiking, crafts, and environmental education lessons
- Assist with daily camp operations, attendance, and schedules
- Maintain program materials and supplies
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and participants
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (degree in Environmental Education, Recreation, or related field preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth
- CPR/First Aid certification (required before start)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
