```Job Overview:
Ski’s Sausage is looking for high energy and enthusiastic people with natural sales capabilities to join our farmers market sales team! As a Market Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their sausage needs. If you have a passion for being in the outdoors and selling the best artisan sausage products, we want you! We have multiple Farmer's Market we attend in the Oakland, Wayne, Washtenaw and Livingston County area. Markets are on Saturdays and Sundays and there is additional opportunities for markets during the week. This will require picking up the farmers market supplies and coolers in Pinckney and traveling to markets in the area and filling in weekly. This is a part-time position but there are markets to fill in for Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
This will run for most markets May thru October.
$16/hour plus 5% commission on gross sales for the day
Duties:
-Setting up and breaking down vendor booth.
-Building relationships with customers and other market vendors
- Reliable transportation; Valid MI drivers license and insurance
- Ability to lift coolers with product 50 pounds
- Process credit card payments, and cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Keep the booth clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
