What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Shop Attendant 26-27 position at Ski Cooper?
Duties and responsibilities
- Direct guests through rental process and answer related questions
- Assist guests with computerized rental sign-in
- Properly fit guests for rental boots
- Assist guests with equipment return process
- Aid Rental Technicians with putting away returned rental equipment
- Help to keep Rental Shop clean by sweeping/mopping and cleaning bathroom at least once per week
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 14 years old
- Ability to take direction and perform duties efficiently
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good interpersonal skills

Working conditions
The Rental Shop Attendant position is based primarily inside, but may also be outside exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500 feet).
Physical requirements
Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift objects that may be heavy.
Seasonal Status
This is a winter seasonal position with an expected season of early December 2026 through Late March to mid April 2027. Employment in subsequent seasons is not guaranteed. Be sure to speak with your supervisor if you desire to return the next season.
