Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver and pick up dry cleaning orders across designated routes.
- Load and unload items using manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and care of garments.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and delivery documentation to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients courteously, answering questions, and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Plan efficient routes to maximize productivity while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience, especially with courier or box truck operations preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and warehouse environments is desirable.
