At Skana Aluminum, our products move fast  and we need a strong, organized, people-focused leader to keep everything moving safely, efficiently, and accurately.

🎯 What You’ll Do

As our Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you’ll be the captain of the dock  overseeing daily operations and leading a team of 3–5 employees to success.

You will:

• 🚚 Oversee daily shipping & receiving operations for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance

• 📅 Set priorities, create schedules, and keep workflow running smoothly

• 👥 Train, coach, and develop your team in safety and best practices

• 📦 Manage incoming & outgoing freight (FTL/LTL), carrier selection, routing, labeling & packing accuracy

• 💲 Negotiate freight rates and maintain strong carrier relationships

• 📊 Perform inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies & maintain tracking systems

• 📝 Oversee documentation (BOLs, packing slips, manifests, ASNs)

• 🔍 Investigate and resolve freight issues, damaged shipments, and delivery discrepancies

• 🤝 Partner with Manufacturing Operations and Customer Service to keep production flowing

• 🏗 Standardize and improve processes through Lean & Continuous Improvement

• 💪 Jump in and perform team duties when needed

🧠 What You Bring (Must-Have)

• Associate degree (or higher) in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related field
  AND 5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination)

• Strong background in:

  • ISO 9001 & Quality Systems

  • Lean Manufacturing

  • Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience with ERP/MRP/CMMS systems (SAGE 100 preferred)

⭐ Bonus Points If You Have

• Forklift operation experience

• Experience training others on forklift operation
