🔧 What You’ll Do (AKA Your Superpowers)

• Build furnace loads by matching recipes, tempers, and weights

• Safely load and unload coils using a forklift

• Set and monitor furnace and air temperatures (yes, precision matters 🔥)

• Install thermal couplers and wire up loads like a pro

• Monitor soak temperatures and document results

• Transfer finished coils to cooling areas

• Complete production reports and paperwork

• Support quality systems and continuous improvement efforts

• Cross-train and jump in to help at the Rolling Mill when needed

In short: You control the heat, the timing, and the quality.

💪 What Makes You a Great Fit

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Manufacturing experience preferred (heat treatment or furnace operation = bonus points)

• Forklift experience

• Comfortable with basic math and measurement tools

• Able to read work instructions and document accurately

• Basic computer skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

You’re someone who:

• Can troubleshoot and think on your feet

🏭 Work Environment

This is a hands-on industrial role. You’ll work around moving equipment, heat, and noise (hearing protection required). You’ll be on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and staying active throughout your shift.
