Job Overview
As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will be reporting to the hygienist and dentist, keeping a busy two column day running.
Duties
- Turning over operatories and bringing back patients.
- Transcribing treatment plans given by the dentist.
- Polishing, flossing and taking x-rays on patients.
- Sterilizing instruments used in the Hygiene columns.
- Preparing for the next day with the hygienist to be ready and on the same page.
Experience
- Dental Assisting experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred, able to hold conversation with patients and ease anxiety
- We are willing to provide training for the right person
- Has strong time management skills
- Has strong communication skills
Hours
Monday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Tuesday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
We are a fast growing practice, and plan to add Thursday's 8:30 am - 5:30 pm sometime mid to late summer.
