OverviewThis is a small, family-owned wholesale produce company predominately supplying the ASIAN restaurant and market communities in the greater Seattle area. We are committed to providing the best service and product to our customers and building strong partnerships with our suppliers and employees.Accounts Receivable Clerk· This role is in person, 5 days a week (including Saturday), typically between 5:00am – 12:00pm· All staff focus on getting daily orders out on delivery, generally around 9:30amEssential Job Functions:· Ensure customer orders are accurate and complete before printing invoices· Verify all voicemail orders were received· Print invoices and distribute to driving routes· Take email orders off and distribute accordingly· Send monthly statements via the company’s payment portal· Verify and record customer payments in QuickBooks· Resolve discrepancies and investigate issues related to underpayment or non-payment· Maintain positive relationships with customers while following up on overdue invoices· Develop and implement payment plans for clients with overdue balances when necessary· Reconcile daily invoices· Additional tasks/duties as requiredSkills and Qualifications:· 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or general accounting· Additional fluency in Chinese and/or Vietnamese is a plus but not requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers in a clear and concise manner· Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel Outlook) and QuickBooks DesktopStrong attention to detail and high degree of accuracySelf-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment· Commitment to the company’s values and ethicsBenefits:6 paid holidays Part Time RatePaid Time Off Part Time RateCompany DescriptionS.K.
